FC Boys' Track Team results 4/26/06

Our Falls Church Boys Track team really came through at our home meet yesterday against Mt. Vernon, Washington and Lee, and Yorktown. Captain Brian Blincoe lead the team with huge points scored. He had 1st place finishes in the Long Jump and Triple Jump. He also had 2nd place finishes in the 400m Dash and the 800m Run. He also lead the team to a 1st place finish in the 4x400m Relay along with fellow captain Matt Gorman. Matt also had a 1st place finish in the Shot Put and helped the 4x100m relay team to a 2nd place finish. Captain Rey Carranza had a 2nd place finish in the Discus throw. Junior Kelvin Lopez had some impressive performances by contributing to the 1st place finish by our 4x400m Relay team and 2nd place finish in the 4x100m Relay. He also lead the 800m run with 100 meters to go until a random football was thrown in his direction causing him to lose his stride, but still a great run!
