Defense holds it down for the Jags

Jaguar Season to Date

Despite a very sloppy first half and 5 turnovers the Jaguars are able to overcome and get their 3rd straight victory over the Washington-Lee Generals. The Defense really held into together while the offense tried to get things on track. The Gang-Green D was lead by senior linebackers Darnell “Smokey” Pendleton and Eric “Big White” Bruyette with 13 & 10 tackles respectively. Tony Collins had an incredible interception and Max Hurkamp has 3 interception one which was returned for a TD but was called back because a penalty. The defensive line played well keeping their QB running for his life all day and only completing 2 passes.

Offensively it took a little while to get clicking. “Long Ball” Collins was a little short to
Start the game but still ended up 14 for 27 for 266 yards 3 Td 3 int. RJ Davis had another breakout game with 7 receptions for 139 yards 1 TD. He also had 1 run for 45 and a return for 30 yards. Tony Collins had 4 receptions for 55 yards 1 TD. Rashad Money had 16 carries for 102 yards and 1 catch for a 40-yard Touchdown. The Offensive Line did a great job of pass blocking. Falls Church will look to keep it going this week against Mt Vernon.
