GMU Patriots Have Jaguar Football Connection

George Mason University's 2005 football roster of coaches and players has a number of names familiar to Jaguar fans. Coach Matt Dyson, the Patriots linebacker coach is a former Falls Church High School football coach and is still the head coach of the Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field team for the Jaguars.

In addition to Coach Dyson, three former Jaguars will be contributing to the Patriots football program this fall. Junior Jeremy Rinaldi and sophomores Victor Rabbani and Demetri Ofiesh bring a distinct Jaguar flavor to GMU. Rinaldi will work out of the offensive tight end position while Rabbani and Ofiesh will play on the defensive side of the ball as linebackers.

The Patriots play a wide open brand of football, resulting in very exciting contests. The GMU schedule has five home games set for October and November. The Patriots play their home games at Robinson Field, which is on the University’s Fairfax Campus, adjacent to the Physical Education Building. We hope you will have the opportunity to see the former Jaguars in action.
