Lady Jaguars Varsity Volleyball Defeats Hayfield

The girls' volleyball team hosted the Hawks of Hayfield High School on Thursday night. The always dangerous Hawks prevailed in the freshmen and JV matches and appeared confident they would sweep the Jaguars with a win over the varsity, but the Lady Jags came prepared to play. The Jaguars dominated early and took the first two games of the match. The Hawks came back to win the third game and suddenly the Jaguars looked to be in trouble. In the fourth game the score was back and forth early and a fifth game seemed a real possibility. Late in the fourth game the Jags regrouped and dominated the play to win three games to one. Great job Jags. Keep it going!
