Jennifer Starkey, a 1999 graduate, who led the Jags to National District Titles in soccer in 1998 and 1999, and scored 15 points against Mt. Vernon in the National District Basketball Tournament Championship game in 1999, moved on to James Madison University and took up a new sport, rugby. Little did Jennifer know that her new sport would become her passion and give her the opportunity to travel to England (twice), Canada and New Zealand, as well as all over the USA. Jennifer so excelled at rugby, she was selected for the National Under-23 Women's Rugby Team. In July, 2005, Jennifer was featured in Rugby Magazine.
