The 2005 season began with great excitement as we selected a talented group of players to the JV squad. The team comprises a promising mix of speed, height, and fundamental skills; several girls show the abiltity to set the ball, and we already have a number of decent attackers.
As practices begin, all the girls are learning to master the fine art of passing, the most important of all volleyball skills. The lineup already features plenty of serving talent, and we are working on all the little things that make good teams great.
We look forward to a year of fun, learning, and competition; we hope all the Jaguar fans will come out to watch our matches.
