In the last meet before the holiday break (and first meet at Providence), the Lady Jags won in a decisive victory over Wakefield.

The team won every event over Wakefield. Double event winners included Clara Dombroski, Sydney Langer and Laura Schwartz. Individual event winners included Maggie Cullather, Shelley Kendall and Marisa Sims.

In addition to the win, freshman Laura Schwartz continued her record breaking ways. On this Friday, she started off by taking down the 200 freestyle record from 1981. She demolished the old record with a time of 1:56.44. Laura followed this up with the 100 fly, taking down Sarah Sykes' (former state champ for FCHS) 1981 record with a 58.98. Both of these records also qualified Laura for the State Championship meet in Virginia Beach.
