After a close loss to W-L, the boys team traveled to GW Rec Center to face Hayfield Secondary on a snowy Saturday evening. Since Hayfield is a new addition to the district, the boys did not know what to expect. The lead went back and forth through the evening, with the Jaguar prevailing in the end! In addition to the excitement of winning, freshman Jesse Kane broke the Falls Church school record in the 100 FL!

First place winners for the Jaguars were Michael Clingaman (100 BR), Alex Howe (200 FR and 500 FR), Jesse Kane (100 FL and 100 BK), Eric Kuldell (dive), the 200 FR A Relay (Michael Clingaman, Hayden Workman, David Blincoe, Alex Howe) and the 400 FR A Relay (Jesse Kane, Ryan Davenport, Alex Howe, David Blincoe). Second place winners were David Blincoe (50 FR and 100 FR), Michael Clingaman (100 BR) Mike Pumphrey (dive), Will Rogers (500 FR and 100 BK), and the 200 Medley A Relay (Will Rogers, Michael Clingaman, Jesse Kane, Ryan Davenport). Third place finishers were Ryan Davenport (200 FR), Hayden Workman (200 IM and 100 FR), the 200 Medley B Relay (Hayden Workman, Mike Fernandez, Eric Kuldell, Erik Vasquez), and the 400 FR B Relay (Will Rogers, Zack Ascencio, Mike Fernandez, Erik Vasquez).

Other point scorers were Syd Bechet, Jacob Bills, Zack Camp, Juan Garcia, Trevor Morgan and Tuan Nguyen.

Up next for the boys is Edison High School (at Lee District Rec Center @ 6 PM) on Friday, December 11.
